Waterground is the digital home of Wenke Wassibauer’s work. A space centered around transformation, presence, and inner exploration.
The goal was to create an experience that feels immersive and emotional. Less like a website, more like entering a state of mind.
The challenge was to move beyond traditional structure. The content is abstract and deeply personal, so the experience needed to guide without feeling rigid or instructional.
The direction focused on atmosphere and rhythm.
The structure flows more like a journey than a page:
Lead with a strong, poetic statement
Introduce the philosophy through layered visuals and text
Present offerings as experiences rather than services
Use testimonials and narratives to build emotional trust
Invite action softly through moments, not pressure
Visually, the design leans into a fluid, expressive system. Distorted typography, soft gradients, and cinematic imagery create a sense of depth and movement. The layout breaks conventional grids to support a more intuitive flow.
The result is an experience that feels raw, immersive, and intentional. It invites users to slow down, explore, and connect on a deeper level.
